About our chapter
Chapter X (the Hocking Hills Road Riders) is one of the older Gold Wing
chapters in southeast Ohio. Several of the founding members are still
active in the chapter. At the current time, we are seeing 12 to 18
members at our meetings and our rides are well attended. If you need
information on where to ride and when to ride, we have members who can
provide you with information on most areas of the United States
including Alaska. We have members who have toured Nova Scotia and
Prince Edward Island, too.
During the summer months, the retired members of the group ride on
Monday and/or Friday. Destinations include favorite ice cream stops,
motorcycle dealers, hotdog palaces, or any special destination within
½ a day’s ride. On weekends, we do day- rides and a few
overnight trips. We love music, and travel to shows throughout the
riding season.
What do we ride? We have members with Goldwing1200s, 1500s, 1800s,
trikes, sidecars, and V-twin motorcycles/rigs. We are more than willing
to give maintenance tips on bikes and rigs we own. If we can’t
solve the problem, we can suggest a shop or person to contact.
If this is the type of riders and rides you are looking for, we invite
you to join us on a ride or at one of our monthly meetings. Visit us
and we will explain why we believe being a GWRRA member is a positive
experience. Give us a chance to show you our rider family--you may want
to belong too.
